PCI is a high speed bus which delivers extreme performance in input output subsystems.

The following is the structure of bus -
PCI can be confugured as 32-bit or 64-bit bus.

There are 49 mandatory signal lines which are configured as follows -
System Pins:clock and reset pins

Address and Data Pins: 32 lines multiplexed for address and data

Interface control pins: control the timing of transactions and provide coordination among initiators and targets.
Arbitration pins: These are not shared lines and PCI master has its own pair of arbitration lines that connect it directly to the PCI bus arbiter.

Error reporting pins: used for reporting parity and other errors.

PCI specification defines 51 optional signal lines

Interrupt pins: the are required to generate request for service. These are not shared lines.PCI device has its own interrupt line or lines to an interrupt controller.

Cache support pins: To support memory on PCI there lines are used that can be a cached in the processor ir another device.Supports snoopy cache protocols.

64-bit bus extension pins: 32 lines that are time multiplexed for address and data that are combined with the mandatory address/data lines to form a 64-bit address/data bus.Other lines in this group are used to interpret and validate the signal lines that carry the address and data. There are two lines that enable two PCI devices to agree to the use of the 64-bit capability.

JTAG/Boundary scan pins: These signal lines support testing procedures defines in IEEE Standard 1149.1.

Many people want to make our their state common entrance test but eventually it turns out hard to be in the end.

In my experience at MHTCET overview, many students after MHTCET results start roaming for admission although the admissions are online. Many of them don't understand the online process and end getting worse college. So the only help can be received is from those who have gone through this process. Here you will get help from many engineers regarding the online process of the engineering admissions.

If you looking for some help regarding the process or seeking some consultancy regarding the study material of the entrance test examinations then you can open a new thread here in this forum. You will get many suggestion from our members which will help you to understand better.
